My family consists of my parents, my younger brother Alex, and me! My brother passed away in February of 2018. In honor of him, I wear a lime green bracelet to show that he was organ donor. The lime green bracelet signifies the importance of organ donation. We choose to honor Alex by donating his organs and tissue to help save others.

My parents have also moved to FT. Myers, Florida! So for my breaks, I get to go see the lovely sunshine state! 

I am recently married, as of 9/4/2021 to Trevor Goforth! Trevor and I got married down in the West Bottoms of KCMO, one of my favorite places in the world! My name will change to Cadey Carney-Goforth, but the students will just call me Mrs. Carney!

Trevor works in Overland Park, Kansas for Ryan Transportation in their accounting firm. We live in Spring Hill, Kansas.

We have 3 animals. Pattie, a hyperactive beagle whippet mix who is two. She is named after Patrick Mahomes. Then we have two cats named Bindi and Charlie. They are sisters, and two year’s old.
